It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
Another 'first' for Charlie...his first Halloween! Charlie celebrated at Grandma & Grandpa Watkins' home with his 21 cousins and loved it. There were appearances by M&M's, Belle, butterflies, Elmo, Transformers, Super Mario, Taylor Swift and even an elk (just to name a few). Each costume was cuter than the next. As Charlie experienced his first Halloween, a few of the cousins were beginning to out-grow it. They had no problem participating in the upstairs hallway trick-or-treating at each bedroom & bathroom on the second floor though! :) I guess we are never to old to pass up candy...Happy Halloween!

Vegas
After spending a chilly weekend in Colorado, Charlie was begging for 90 degree weather. So, he called some of his friends for fun in the the sun. We were fortunate to have the Johnson's, the Kennedy's, the Moss family, Rob (a.k.a. Lenox) and Troy, all stop by to say hello. Thanks, Uncle Chris, for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Colorado
We're a bit behind on posting our happenings - Uncle Lee, Charlie's favorite babysitter, traveled with us to Colorado. Charlie was able to meet his great-grandparents and learn all about his Latvian roots on Grandpa John's side of the family.
Peter & Lee also braved the frigid elements to cheer on the Utes v. CSU.

Kentucky continued...
Grandma Carolyn took us to Coney Island in Cincinnati, OH to see the Halloween decorations & gardens - beautiful. We even did a sneak-preview of Charlie's Halloween costume for Grandma Carolyn & Grandpa John (thanks Aunt Liz for the hand-me-down!).

Grandpa John took us to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, and Charlie was able to get up-close and personal with the 2003 Kentucky Derby winner, Funny Cide. Grandpa proudly had his 1971 Corvette restored to take Charlie in his first ride with the top down - he can't wait to get his license now!

BHS class of 1998
Peter, Charlie and I headed to Kentucky for my 11th class reunion. It was great reuniting with old cronies, despite an 11 year reunion being a bit out of the ordinary. Great times with great people! Photos of time with Grandma Carolyn & Grandpa John to follow...
